Starlink For RVs
SpaceX recently tweeted that Starlink for RVs now has over 100,000 customers! With the growing number of people living out of their RVs, Starlink is providing a solution to the biggest issue RV goers have.
You can now instantly access high-speed, low-latency internet from practically anywhere, perfect for adventuring.
Low latency refers to a computer network that is designed to process a high volume of data with very minimal delay. You can expect your internet in a high-capacity area to work flawlessly.
The best part about Starlink is that it is on an as-needed basis. You’ll have the ability to pause and un-pause your service at any time as need be. You’ll be billed month to month, making this internet service perfect for travelers, catering to your travel needs.
Starlink released a service coverage map and mentioned that Starlink for RVs is not designed for use while in motion. However, this would be perfect to use in areas with unreliable or unavailable usage.
We found a few interesting facts in their service coverage map:
Most of Canada and the western part of the United States are under high capacity. Most of the Eastern part of the US and major parts of Ontario like the greater Toronto area and Ottawa region are under low capacity. However, with an ever-growing company, this coverage is expected to improve. If you are traveling outside of the greater Toronto area, you should have no problem finding good coverage.
Is Starlink a good alternative for internet on the go?
